ummm this is true
Just heard another good saying from Jessee Duplantist " Dont let your feelings tell you how to feel, now think about that one for a few minutes. We should tell our bodies how to feel! We have the power through Jesus!! So take control of your feelings, and walk it out in faith!!

Believe God not your feelings!
I'm learning to really take God at His word and not listen to what I may or may not feel on the inside. This is a daily, and I really do mean DAILY trusting experience! I fail many times, but His grace is made perfect in my weakness.

~Convictions and Boundries~
I wrote the blog below a few years ago on Valentines day and feel the need to re-post and to be reminded God is raising up a generation of young ladies of purity in their inner most being. Ladies that will not settle, but will WAIT for the one God has for them.
ok so the question of the day is: dating, marriage and children, so I'm writing this for all you folks who keep asking me so.... are you dating.. :) I hope this will help explain a little where my heart is. As I recall in the Bible there is a book called RUTH it is a great love story of how Jesus brought two of His children together, in His perfect timing to be made one. Ruth went through a very hard time, but still was noble and true to her heart and to what God told her to do. In the end she met Boaz!! If you have not read this beautiful story read it this valentines day!! Its a story of TRUE LOVE.
I wanna be like Ruth, waiting for "the one" not dating every single hot guy that comes along, but waiting on the one God has for me. I want to be a Godly wife for my husband. I want my heart, mind, soul and body to be pure for him, and I want to be trusted with his heart. Its great to go out and hang with friends, but I'm being very carful who I give my heart to! Girls these days should be more picky, and not just "settle" for anyone!! So I will continue to love Jesus with all my heart and do what He has called me to do in this life, I trust that in His perfect timing NOT MINE that he will bring me my cute/hot Boaz haha( I had to add the cute/hot) :) I pray for my future husband and children that they would love Jesus and serve him with all their hearts! I want to leave a legacy. I'm worth waiting for , and so are all the other single ladies out there!!!!
I love romance stories!! Kings and Queens, princess on white horses. But Jesus Christ is the best picture of true love, he died for you, and laid down his very life. Now thats a picuture of love!! ok, so all that to say I hope you all have a very Happy Valentines Day!!! God Bless you!!! John 3:16

Time...
Where has the time gone? The one and only blog post I last did was in January!! Gosh... Speaking of time I heard a great message last night by Wes Martin about how much our "time" matters to God. I know for myself I really do waste precious moments in my day all the time! What also hit home was that God ALSO cares how I spend my money, relationships and treat the things he has given to me. I mean I always "knew" God cared about all these things, but now the caring part is really meaningful to me. I really do waste time! Facebook does not help! :) I want my inner life in God to be strong, therefore I know I must keep Him first.
Prov 19:20-23 Listen to counsel and receive instruction, [that] you may be wise in your latter days. 21There are many plans in a man's heart, nevertheless the LORD's counsel -- that will stand…23The fear of the LORD leads to life…
1. We live in the land of many, many options and good ideas. Plans to grow in wealth, grow in ministry, grow in influence...lots of good things. But only the Lord’s counsel will stand.
2. We must begin to steward everything in light of the fear of the Lord and turn away from things that consume our time and ultimately lead to wasting our life.
3. We need to invite the Spirit of wisdom to confront any wisdom from this age that is at work in us. ~Wes Martin
I want to have a schedule and really stick with it, so my time will be used wisly...Lord help!!!

I've become a blogger...
I've always thought this blogger thing was really cool, but never joined.. that is until now!! I love writing and journaling, sometimes its hard for me to actually sit and get my thoughts together and write. I'm hoping this will help with my spelling, writing and grammer skills. :) I think its neat to share and "do" life with others, on the net! I thought the other day, what in the world did we do before the internet came along? So much information just a "click" away. So here I am on January 11, 2009 writing my first blog on the blogger, I know this year will be filled with good things and some challenges. The Lords really been speaking to me about the unoffended heart, and what it looks like. I was in Kansas City, MO the week before last, for the ONETHING 2008 conference, I only went to a few of the meetings because of sinus issues, but because of the internet I was still able to watch the meetings and stay connected which was such a blessing. God is so good, and I'm looking forward to all the good things He has in store for His children (us) this year. I have some goals like... excercise!!! I'm planning to work on this year and staying in the word on a consistant basis.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
